If you fancy learning a little bit about the history of the band why not take a look at the band page. We’ve updated our Bio so that you can find out where we have come from and how we link into other maiden tribute bands around the country.
Up The Irons !
A new video, courtesy of Ash Robertson showing the band at the Rock Legends Xmas gig at the O2 Academy is now on the video page. Happy New Year to all. Maiden UK wish you all the very best for 2016 – Up The Irons
Returning with a whole new ‘Somewhere in Time’ stage show, Maiden UK are now taking bookings for 2016! Ourselves (and Eddie!) already have plenty dates for 2016 that we can’t wait to play, so make sure you book now to guarantee yourself a night of Maiden madness and classics throughout our whole set!
We supply vocal PA and back drops. We advertise our shows on social media sites where we have a very healthy following. We can supply venues with *customised posters upon request to maximise audiences. Our two hour show provides the closest simulation of the Iron Maiden show and sound you can fit in a pub/club! Most venues we play tend to book us for a return visit. Booking prices are very reasonable and very much in line with other bands. Prices are dependent on how far we are required to travel so please get in touch to discuss.
* Customised posters are supplied at the venues request. The venue will need to supply ticket costs, show times and will usually be required to arrange printing although we can occasionally assist with this.
We just wanted to give a quick acknowledgement to the new album from our favourite band. Iron Maiden released their latest album Book of Souls on 04th September 2015. You can buy it now direct from their site. It’s a fantastic addition to their catalog and although I’m yet to establish a favourite track, I Think that the great unknown is a really strong contender. The album is the bands 16th studio release and the first studio double album, running for a massive 92 minutes. Grab it now you won’t be disappointed.
UK started out as the Iron Maiden Tribute Maiden England and after 14 years Mark decided to leave so that he could set up a Deep Purple Tribute act with the bands drummer Micky K. Fellow founding member Billy decided too that he wished to spend his evenings lurking on Riverbanks. We are all still good mates and wish the lads all the very best for the future. The band continued for a few months with bass player Huw, Avenger guitarists Liam and Sean, new drummer Dave and Roddy B at the helm as vocalist. Roddy then decided to move on to concentrate on other things with Axxed Asylum and ex Venom member Abbadon. At this point Paul “Hewie” Hewitson stepped up to the plate to cover the bands commitments for the remainder of 2014. Paul was the original vocalist for Maiden England when they started out more than fifteen years ago. He had left Maiden England in 2011 and formed I Am Maiden, another maiden tribute band. 2015 will see the band concentrate on presenting Live after Death themed sets.
